Q. Is Models 54 a modelling agency ?
A. No, it's not a traditional agency. It's not paid work. Not yet! It's a fashion platform where you can start modelling and become the face of brands and campaigns that are created for you by Models 54.

Models 54 is an exclusive members' platform where you can choose to enter the world of fashion and become the face of brands that are created for you by Models 54.
Each month, members will receive a new creative brief in the House of 54 media suite. The brief includes brand new original brands for you to model including the campaign style guides and set design examples.
Only members have access to the House of 54 media suite and only members can have their campaign imagery posted live on the Models 54 website through their own portfolio.​
The platform is limited to only 200 members worldwide who pay a monthly membership of $100. Models 54 has broken down the traditional barrier to entry to the fashion and modelling world where

Q. Do I need to submit photos or go to castings to get scouted for a campaign ?
A. No. The Models 54 ethos is, You Cast Yourself. There is no waiting to be scouted or hoping for a callback. You decide if you're a model, no one else. Don't be judged, be the judge. You become a Models 54 model with an Exclusive Membership.
Q. Do I need to have previous modeling experience ?
A. No. You can choose to start now. Models 54 is a place where you can be the style icon you've always known you are. Gone are the traditional gatekeepers of the industry.
Q. Do I need an agent, or do I have to have representation?
A. No. You connect directly with Models 54 and once you've joined as an Exclusive Member you work with us collaboratively on your campaigns. No middle men, no agents, no scouts, no managers.
Q. Do I have to sign a contract ?
A. No. You join Models 54 with an Exclusive Membership which has terms and conditions. You're not contracted or controlled by Models 54.
We work alongside you, and you can retire your membership anytime.
​Models 54 can support the creative process with collaborating photographers, and designers who could be launching new brands and collections.
You're not paid for the shoots in the traditional sense where a model is cast by an agency and then works on a shoot with a retail brand. But you are building and promoting your portfolio within a professional and exclusive platform which could lead to your own retail brand, or a big break with an existing brand.
Q. Do I need to be tall, or a certain weight ?
A. No. If you have the creative vision then you can become a name in fashion now! Models 54 offers self-selection with an Exclusive Membership.
Q. Will I be sent to castings with clients in order to get modeling jobs ?
A. No, Models 54 doesn't have any clients, just our members. Together we design and create new brands and campaigns every month. You'll always have new campaigns to be the face of. Members have access to the monthly campaign briefs and inspire videos.
Q. Do I need to have lots of followers on my socials to become a Models 54 member ?
A. No, Models 54 doesn't judge you on your social media presence. If you have the desire and motivation to create campaign imagery, then you're ready.
Q. Who takes the photos of me that become the campaign images ?
A. You do. You take total control, you're the creative director on your shoot. You may choose to work alone or with a photographer or build your own creative crew to work with on your portfolio.
Q. Do the photos I take have to be taken with a high-end professional camera ?
A. Not at all, however, you choose. Just remember, Apple shoot their own IPhone tv commercials using IPhones. The technology you use is not the point. It's about the final campaign image.
Q. Does the model have to edit photos or visually prepare shots to go live on Models 54?
A. No. All photos go though a final cut with the Models 54 visual artists which includes adding the branding and campaign logos.
However you can choose to edit and upload a shot.
Q. Am I provided with what I need to wear for a shoot ?
A. Not always. Sometimes you'll receive House of 54 clothing to model. All other shoots you choose what you wear to match the campaign brief. The inspire video in the brief explains it all.
Q. Is there an age requirement to become a Models 54 member ?
A. Yes, 18 years old, and official government issued photo ID may be required if we need more information.
Q. Does Models 54 profit from the campaign images I'm in, or sell the images on to anyone ?
A. No. You are the author of the original images that you capture and upload through your account. Models 54 doesn't profit from, or on sell the final campaign images.
Q. Is Models 54 for both guys and girls ?
A. Yes, Absolutely. However Models 54 is limited to a total of 100 male, and 100 female models.
Q. If Models 54 has reached capacity, can I go on a waitlist to join when an Exclusive Membership becomes available ?
A. Yes, absolutely. However, there is no way of predicting when the next membership will become available.
Q. If I become a Models 54 Exclusive Member, am I guaranteed online coverage of my portfolio, and news coverage of the campaigns I'm in ?
A. Yes, definitely. You will have your own portfolio page on the Models 54 platform visible to the public along with stories about your campaigns under the 'News' section.
Q. Can members communicate directly with the Models 54 office ?
A. Yes, You have direct access to Models 54 management 7 day a week via the platform. We're here to collaborate with you on ideas and help with the creative process on your campaigns. Members of the public can communicate via email at hello@models54.com
Q. Can I come up with my own original ideas for campaigns including a brand name I like ?
A. Yes, absolutely. That's the exact creativity we love to see. If you have an idea, shoot it. We'll help you with the final image and add it to your portfolio.
